The torrential down pours that occurred on May 29th 2011 in Hawke’s Bay, NL was a vivid reminder of the power of the mighty Torrent River. Often in the heat of the summer when anglers find themselves nearly dozing in the summer sun at Shady Pool the power of the Torrent is lost. Even yesterday as photos were taken there was no question the powerful force of this river and falls. It’s a raging river – that’s for sure!
