Open for the Season!

21 06 2011

The time has come and we’re finally open for another season!

The river is teeming with water and the word has hit the street that the first of the salmon are in the river.

The men have been looking over the side of the Torrent River bridge for a sliver of silver and a few have wet a line in hopes of the first catch of the season.

In fact, we saw a picture yesterday of a taut line and a beauty of a fish. Indeed the season has begun!

Looking forward to big salmon returns, lots of visitors and an excellent year in 2011!
